Active relaxer or lounger lizard – there's something for everyone.
We’re staying right on a gorgeous surf beach – what better opportunity to learn to surf, or hire a board and dust off your skills? The break at Batu Tampih is beginner-friendly with long, gentle waves that are perfect for first-timers, while more experienced surfers can find bigger sets further out.
Coastline Surf Bali offers lessons, board hire and guided surf trips. Whether you’re a total beginner or just haven’t paddled out in a while, the warm water and consistent swell make this one of the best spots to get into it.

Tanah Lot is one of Bali’s most iconic landmarks – a sprawling sea temple perched on a rocky outcrop surrounded by crashing waves. It’s about 30 minutes from the resort and is especially stunning at sunset, when the temple is silhouetted against the sky.
The surrounding complex is filled with markets brimming with local art, handmade crafts and souvenirs. Grab a fresh coconut, wander the stalls, and soak in the atmosphere. Remember to cover your shoulders and knees as a sign of respect when visiting temples.
Bali Beach Glamping has an in-house spa, perfect for a relaxing afternoon between events. Choose from traditional Balinese massage, aromatherapy, body scrubs and more – all at a fraction of what you’d pay at home.
Treatments start from $40 NZD for an hour-long massage. We'd recommend booking early so that we can arrange for additional masseuses if there's enough demand (let us know!)

Bali is famous for its coffee, including the legendary Kopi Luwak – one of the world’s most expensive (and unusual) brews. A plantation tour takes you through lush tropical gardens where you’ll learn about the bean-to-cup process, see exotic spices growing in the wild, and sample a flight of Balinese coffees and teas.
Most tours are free (you pay for what you drink) and take about an hour. It’s a great excuse to get out into the countryside and see a different side of Bali beyond the beach.
